I was fourteen when I read my first historical fiction novel: Jean Auel's Earth's Children series. Those pages carried me far beyond my own world, into another time, another culture, and lives so vivid they felt real. From there, I journeyed through the stories of Wilbur Smith, Diana Gabaldon, Kate Quinn, Philippa Gregory, and Francine Rivers. Their books taught me that history is more than dates and events—it is people, choices, triumphs, and heartbreak.
When I picked up the pen myself, these authors became my teachers. They showed me how stories can transport us, challenge us, and leave us forever changed.
My hope is that within these pages you will meet unforgettable characters, walk ancient roads, laugh and weep alongside them, and catch a glimpse of the God who is still writing redemption into every human story—including your own.
